brought about the beginnings of one of the most beloved American

Theme songs, The Battle Hymn of the Republic. You will laugh along

with her at the humorous stories of growing up in a very different

time, while also hearing the heart touching stories of heroism from

both sides of the war that inspired her song.

**Bringing to life “Julia Ward Howe” is Karen Knight of Heartsongs Ministries, Inc. who is no stranger to the stages of the Iron Bridge productions.

Best recognized as Corrie Ten Boom in The Hiding Place and Naomi in Ruth with Iron Bridge Dinner Theatre, Karen brings a myriad of experience to our stage, most notably known as Noah's Wife (NOAH) and as Elizabeth (MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS) at Sight & Sound Theatres. In addition, Karen was also part of the film Mayberry Man, where she can be seen as a tour guide.
